  • Bachelor of Science from Loyola College (1980-1983).
  • Master of Science, Presidency College, Madras University in the year 1985, Chennai. India.
  • After a 1 year Diploma in Computer Applications, worked in NIIT, Trichy as faculty member and programmer.
  • 3 times day scholars club Chess Champion of Loyola College (1980-83). Stood 3rd in Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Open Chess Tournament conducted by Mikhail Tal Chess Club in year 1983. In that tournament T S Ravi stood 1st, V Anand the current world champion stood 2nd. There were 120 entries from all over India.
  • Won the 1st place in University Weightlifting and was selected for Tamil Nadu State Weightlifting in year 1984.
  • After quitting NIIT, began writing out articles for BV Ramans Astrological Magazine, Star Teller of Indian Express.
  • Began studies in Vedic Astrology from year 1988. Did free consultations from 1990 to 1995. During these years did astrological research on divorce, childlessness, how to astrologically find the best profession for anyone and about karmic diseases.
  • Convinced that Astrology is indeed like any other branch of science, took up Astrology as a profession from year 1995.
  • Did Astrological consultation and gave lectures in Germany, Holland (Vlodrop and Valkenburg, Singapore, KL at Malaysia, Pattaya at Thailand, HongKong and Sri Lanka.
  • Currently engaged in a life time research into Vedic Astrology.
  • Creator of the DIPA Astro Diary and DIPA Astro Calendar. From year 1999 have printed and published the world’s one and only Vedic Astrology Diary that is complete and very user friendly. These diaries are excellent New Year Compliment for companies.
  • An active Rotarian from 2002 after joining Rotary Club of Chennai East R A Puram (RI Dist 3230). Became the President of the Club during the Rotary Year 2009-10. Also became a Major Donor to the Rotary Foundation during the same year. During the same year his club won the Platinum Award.
  • In the Rotary year 2003-04 as an Editor he won the best bulletin award in the RI District 3230. In the year 2004-05 as the Secretary he won the Best Secretary Award.
  • Always eager and interested in learning the why and how of human existence from any point of view from anyone or any source.
  • After a gap of 7 years has started teaching Astrology from Feb 2011 onwards. Each class has 9 students. Course name: DIPA Foundation Course (for beginners). 12 sessions, 3 hrs per session.
